I recently experienced a 'blue screen' computer crash (first I've experienced) that completely wiped out my system, including my Final Draft 12 program. I've been rebuilding the system from the ground up during the past few days. My question is: Does anybody have any experience with or opinions of the new Final Draft 13? I've installed it but I haven't worked with it yet.

I've had crashes. Hopefully the backup was still there for your screenplay.

Thanx folk, I got most of it up-n-running (except some older versions of a few non related programs). FD12 had stuff that as a writer, I had no use for and it seems that FD13 just has more stuff than I need as a writer. I'm not Producing or Directing anymore. I'll see how it works out in a week or so.

Im still using 12 personally and even that version is still giving me issues...random crashes etc. Was gonna try 13 to see if it was ant more stable....guess not.

I'm using 12 - never any issues. Considering my fear of losing all my script drafts (2 years worth ;-) when moving them to 13: if it ain't broke... staying with 12. :-)
I am not an FD user. But there seems to be a lot of hate for 13 over at the reddit screenwriting forum.
Ive had more problems using FD on Apple computers than Windows PC
Dan MaxXx same here. Nowadays I just use Celtx. At least it's save even if my computer crashes.
