Three weeks ago, a major TV network placed me under contract; however, I suspect whoever is in charge of writing the contracts issued me an incorrect pay value on the contract. Moreover, they haven't paid me. I filed a claim with SAG-AFTRA, and the claim bounced around their offices this past week. I'm not sure my union knows how to resolve this unique issue. So, how will this get resolved? Will the network make good on the contract, breach the contract, or offer a compromise? I'm a reasonable person and willing to work with the network in resolving this peculiar issue.

If they want to claw back the money, I'll let them. However, I'd ask them, through my legal representation, to get a day of work on one of their highly popular science fiction series.

It looks like I signed the correct contract. The first paycheck was sent out January 18th but never arrived, so they're issuing a new check; and to my surprise SAG told me residual payments will begin October 2024. SAG confirmed they have the boilerplate contract which I signed. I put a call in to the law office that represents me to help me better understand this highly unusual contract.

Glad it's the right contract but frustrating that the check didn't arrive the first time and that the contract is so unusual.
