I'm Jim Newton a retired environmental engineer and a screenwriter. I have finished three musicals (except for the music), although I have someone looking at writing the music for two of them. I have several Holiday, comedy, and family-oriented scripts that have been semifinalists in several contests. I'm also a cancer survivor and use my experience in some of my scripts. In fact, the 14th was the two-year anniversary of my stem cell transplant. I am heading to M D Anderson for my six-month checkup tomorrow.
