I joined Stage 32 some time ago but have been active here only recently. Thanks to this platform, I've just signed with Ralph Esparza, producing partner at Mario Kassar Productions, for one of my feature film projects. Thrilled to be collaborating with you, Ralph!
About me, I'm an Australian screenwriter who tells stories that tackle the climate crisis while engaging broad audiences in innovative and entertaining ways. With the above project moving forward for a US production, another project going to a writers' room as an Indian series, and a new script in the works set closer to home, I hope to raise understanding and inspire action on important global issues.
Thanks for reading this far and for being part of this wonderful community. If we share similar interests, please feel free to get in touch. Cheers!

Worthy efforts all, Quentin. I always work social and geopolitical issues such as climate change into my action/sci-fi scripts. If successful, I hope to educate and entertain as you are well on your way to accomplishing. Cheers.
P.S. first thing I noticed in your post is the spooky scorched Oz - lived in Cairns and Perth for a few years ;-)

Thanks, all! Ashley Renee Smith, I used to be an environmental engineer before I got into more creative endeavours. So I've always been driven to do something about the climate. How about you - what kind of stories do you gravitate to?

Small world, Matthew Kelcourse! What brought you to Perth and Cairns? By the way, the scorched Oz is actually a picture I found on Google that comes from Joaquin Phoenix's short film, GUARDIANS OF LIFE: www.youtube.com/watch?v=qpjw9cNxwew

Hi Quentin Yung - I was divorced with no kids... perfect time to explore Down Under. Had a ball for 7 years and then came home to behave like someone saving for retirement ;-) And Holy frick, wake up the world! That was an incredible short film that left me speechless - on the edge of tears. Wow!

That's awesome, Quentin Yung! I gravitate toward very human and coming of age stories set against genre backdrops. So character-driven fantasy, sci-fi, and even horror that makes you stop and think about the world and people from a different perspective.
