I am Emily Hayse, an award-winning fantasy author and screenwriter. Screenwriting is a relatively new venture for me so I would love to connect with more screenwriters and industry professionals! I was born and raised in cold Michigan, but I now live in LA (where there is sunshine and no blizzards). I am also a farm girl, teacher, musician, NASCAR fan, and ex-legal secretary.
My current projects include a feature screenplay adaptation of my arctic fantasy novel, SEVENTH CITY, based on El Dorado legends, and a TV pilot for a western fantasy Arthurian legend retelling titled, THESE WAR-TORN HANDS.
I love projects based in history, myths, and legends, especially when they have unique settings or cultures and nuanced characters.

Nice to meet you, Emily. I too am focused on myths and all the mysteries they may yet reveal. The Arthurian legends are so compelling and full of great story-lines and possibilities. Wishing you all Good Fortune with all your creative projects.
