How do you see internet/online fandom effecting films sales these days? Like if a director or actor has a specific but passionate internet following, does that help push sales? We've seen influencers crash and burn trying to make movies in recent years, but there's always the argument there to be made that it has more to do with a lack of transferrable skills to a more focused and skilled artform. What about actual true performers like standups with youtube "specials" that attract millions of views? Or popular podcasters with zealous but niche audiences?
