Hi! I'm prepping for the London Screenwriters Festival Pitchfest! I'm NEVER pitched before so I'm unsure if there are any unwritten rules around what visual aids can be used to enhance the impact. I'm thinking of using one of the images on my pitch deck on a business/postcard with a QR code.
Advice please!!

I dig it, using technology to advertise yourself. Never thought about QR code links. Very Smart. I'm outdated- used to save scripts to flash-drives and throw them at agencies for reads :)

From my experience at LSF, business cards are 100% recommended - QR code is a great idea :-)
Small tip about the business cards you'll also receive from others - I took a pen with me, to make notes about who the card was from and the conversations I'd had with them. 1/ to help me remember everyone (my memory lets me down in social situations as I get anxious) and 2/ any unique points can provide an ice breaker when you reach out to people in the days/weeks after the festival

Is this the group pitch or one-on-one pitch format?

I've heard of people using images from their pitch deck during virtual pitching, Ron Green. I've also heard of people using storyboards, props, costumes, etc. during in-person pitches. A business/postcard with a QR code is a smart idea.

Usually, for the 4 min pitch format: small talk, your pitch (90 secs), remaining time to give the delegate time to absorb, think, ask questions. Be prepared for "what else do you have?" Bring a "one-sheet" to leave behind if requested. Business cards - they don't have to be fancy. Remember, you're selling yourself just as much as your script - so, it's a conversation, but still business. The festival will hand out a list of the people participating and their production companies. So, try to read up on them before sitting down to talk.

@Adam Harper, great tip about the business cards! I’ll definitely be using that in the future.
