Happy International Women's Day!

As we commemorate International Women's Day, let's remember the power of storytelling. Female-forward stories not only entertain but also inspire change and bring to light the struggles and triumphs of women everywhere.

I’m rooting for Annette Benning and Jody Foster's Oscar nominations for acting in the inspirational film, NYAD, directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, based on Nyad’s 2015 memoir, “Find a Way.”

Who do you see taking home the gold this Sunday for best and supporting actress.

As a screenwriter and writing coach, I've seen firsthand how stories can shape our worldviews and open our hearts and minds. Today, I'm especially reminded of the importance of lifting female voices. If you're looking to share your story or need guidance to craft a narrative that resonates, I'm here for you.

It's gotta be Emma Stone in Poor Things. If Margot Robbie were there for Barbie though, that would get my vote!

Happy International Women's Day, Kelly E. Keough!

It's definitely important to lift female voices. Women's stories are intriguing, exciting, and impactful, and those stories need to be told. Some of my favorite movies and shows are written by and directed by women, and those movies and shows have female leads and other female characters.

I haven't watched the Oscar-nominated movies yet, but I plan on watching "Poor Things" this weekend. Emma Stone is one of my favorite actresses, and I've heard great things about the movie.
