When I say weird, I mean all types of speculative fiction like ghosts, monsters, gods, time travel, parallel dimensions, small furry creatures from Alpha Centauri... or possibly all of them in the same story with some oddball humor thrown in. (Yes, Douglas Adams is one of my all time favorites!)
I've written several books and some audio drama scripts for Uncanny County. I'm currently working on a screenplay based on my latest book, Evermore, in which an accidentally immortal alchemist's assistant teams up with the non-deceased Edgar Allan Poe and Meriwether Lewis to prevent a mysterious mastermind from using the elixir of life for their own evil plans.
I am also working on the pitch deck and pilot of an original series, The Vault. Think Twin Peaks and Haven meet Warehouse 13.
I'd like to connect with anyone who loves the weirder worlds.

Amanda F T Bowen greetings Amanda! How did you get into writing? Were you a child prodigy, or was it a gradual realisation of finding out what you were here for?

I like your titles, especially "The Vault." How's your pitch deck and pilot coming along?

"Writers of weirdness"- LOVE IT! I'm also a BIG fantasy, horror, supernatural, sci-fi fan. I'm working on my first fantasy book currently and hope to have a finished draft by the end of this year. I'm all about weirder worlds. Lol!

Hello:
"I, myself, am strange and unusual.". Fun post and title that embraces the unique oddity that everyone may know if each welcomed that. A little weird or strange can be a gift - as Tilly from Big City Greens would push forth.
Congratulations on your imagination's creative depths. Evermore sounds interesting and quite extravagant.

Geoff Hall I've been creating imaginary worlds since I learned how to write! I started off with short stories and poetry, then songwriting, plays, short films, and after a few incompletes, a full novel.
