Financing / Crowdfunding : Chinese Finance Brokers by Tennyson Stead

Dear Stage 32,

Does anyone have access to any brokers they can recommend when it comes to Chinese film finance capital?

Folks on this site know me as a writer of more than 50 screenplays (some of which have placed in competition here on the site), as a film finance exec with about 10 years of hands-on experience, and as a formerly regular blogger here. For the last several years, my bills have been paid through script doctor work and my creative interests have been listing more and more into interactive... but things are reaching a critical mass for another push into film producing. I'm finding the relationships I need, I'm developing content for myself and others that seems ideal for global markets, and I'm looking to build relationships with a reliable and serious finance partner who can be trusted to deliver when the attachments and the content are right where they need to be.

To be clear, I've got colleagues who have been baited by phishing artists offering the promise of Chinese financing. What I'm looking for, right now, are people with actual production finance contacts in China with whom I can set up meetings with to establish the creative and financial terms of doing business - and when I find those people, I'll be happy to fill them in on what's going on. If anyone knows someone who can step in and move money when those terms are met, please let me know.
