Introducing myself

Hello everyone, My name is Mino Parrella. I have written a compelling screenplay that I believe has significant potential, and I would be honored if anyone would consider representing me in the industry.

Allow me to provide a brief introduction to myself. I do not have a degree in Literature, I actually got a degree in Business Management, but I’ve developed a deep passion for writing and story telling since I started working in the entertainment industry as a model and actor (five years contract with Stellartist Agency, and three years contract with Ch.3 Thailand, which have now all expired). After nearly a decade in the industry, I had to take a break from it to help my family’s business (restaurant) especially during COVID. I’ve never lost the spark and the passion of acting and story telling though, so I’ve dedicated myself to writing and with time I have gotten better and written several scripts. While I have not yet gained widespread recognition, I am confident in the quality and commercial viability of the work.

The script I have created is titled “Family Business”, and it belongs to the Mafia/Action genre. Here is the log line, “A man who is in charge of his family’s businesses, involved with the Italian mafia (Camorra), is attacked by an unexpected enemy, he must protect his family’s assets at all cost.” My Father is Italian and I’ve used our culture and our way of life as inspiration to create this fictional script and these characters, making them well-developed because of it. I believe the script has lots of potential for a wide audience.

I would greatly appreciate any consideration. If anyone is looking for something new, require any additional information or have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I will send you the whole script.

Welcome to the community, Mino Parrella. Great to meet you.

You could post your logline, synopsis, and script on the loglines page of your profile. It's a great way to get eyes on your projects.

And you could pitch your script to managers, executives, etc. through Stage 32's Pitch Sessions (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions). The Pitch Sessions are mainly to get feedback on pitches, but members have gotten managers, signed shopping agreements, etc. through the sessions (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories).

Hi Mino Parrella! Thanks for sharing and your script sounds really interesting! I would definitely second Maurice regarding feedback on your pitch, but also your script so you can talk with pros who make the kinds of scripts that you like to write. I'd be happy to recommend you some options if you shoot me an email at success@stage32.com :)
