The call for entries for Reno-Tahoe Fellowship is now open!
One writer wins a call with a producer every month!!!
Season Grand Prize winner gets a 12-month mentorship with a producer!
No other contest offers this! Get a chance to discuss your career, screenplay and next steps with a producer -- 10 monthly winners per season.
Reno-Tahoe Screenwriting Fellowship is for screenwriters who want to take the next step in their screenwriting careers!
Reno-Tahoe sister contests have gotten 20 undiscovered writers produced since they were launched in 2020!
Why submit to our contest:
1. Monthly winners get a call with a producer to discuss their screenplay and career. Ask questions, get notes on your screenplay, make a plan to get your screenplays produced -- this is an opportunity to discuss your career. You can resubmit a new version of your screenplay for free to be considered for the Grand Prize!
2. One grand prize winner is chosen among the 10 monthly winners to receive a 12-month mentorship with a producer.
--Winner will work one-on-one with a producer to develop one of their screenplays or ideas to get it production ready.
--Have regular calls with your producer mentor.
--Discuss production plan.
3. The judges of our contest are working producers -- this is a direct opportunity to have your script read by industry producers.
4. Our contests have a huge track record of getting writers produced -- you could be next!
Submit your best work! The screenplay you submit does not need to be the screenplay you develop with the producer.
We can't wait to see what you've been working on, and we hope to see you at this year's festival!
Cheers,
Reno-Tahoe Fellowship
Hi, MP Poole. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your post from the Screenwriting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because it’s promotion. Promotion can go in the Your Stage Lounge and on Your Wall.
You can post your promotion in one of the main Lounges (Screenwriting Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful and educational to the community.
Example: If you post about the Reno-Tahoe Fellowship in the Screenwriting Lounge, within that post you could start a discussion about what screenwriters should look for in a fellowship, ask screenwriters about their experiences with fellowships, etc. This doesn’t have to be long, just something that starts a conversation that’s helpful and educational.
You can also post your promotion in one of the main Lounges if you're asking for feedback.
Let me know if you have any questions.
