I sent in coverage for a short script based off one of my pilots. it’s set in the same world and is meant to attract interest in my pilot, if the short is made. the feedback was less than good. all the reader did was summarize my short and tell me what a good idea my pilot sounds like and I should develop that. there was no actionable or constructive feedback to improve my script. when a survey was sent to me I stated what I said here. fast forward to today and I received an email from stage 32 saying they read my response and were pleased I was happy with my coverage. if they read my feedback they would know I wasn’t happy with it, but nonetheless, they offered me 10% off a future short script coverage. I already chalked it up to a loss of money and a waste of my time. i decided I’ll go back to Coverfly for my coverage. this was the first and last time I used Stage 32 coverage.

Rick Wheeler as a fellow storyteller first and foremost, I empathize with your disappointment from any and all of coverage from anyone from anywhere.
One measly morsel I look for is the "Comps" offered here at Stage32. These Comparisons are the reality of today market and they are worth gold to me.
I study these Comps on IMDB, I read the Scripts, I watch the TV Pilot or Feature, and I decide if I want to continue with my project, sometimes I do not.
