The writing balance of BoJack Horseman

Media is one of the most powerful persuasive mediums, shaping human perceptions of the world around them. Cinema and content on OTT platforms play a significant role in this. Recently, I watched an animated show on Netflix called "BoJack Horseman." Initially, I expected it to be just another animated show, but from the very start, it felt much more profound. Despite being about a drunk horse, the show felt incredibly real and made me empathetic towards the characters. That's the power of good writing in any show or movie. "BoJack Horseman" brilliantly balances comedy, drama, and seriousness, with dialogues and monologues that deeply connect you to the characters and reveal their inner struggles. It's no surprise that the show is critically acclaimed and truly deserves the praise. One line from BoJack’s letter captures the depth of the character: "So, the thing I keep thinking about is, was it worth it for Beverly to be happy for a little bit, even though it ended up so sad? Or would it have been better if the whole thing never happened? Every time someone leaves rehab, it makes you think about your own progress."
