Your Stage : Flynn White by Eric White

Flynn White

I have finished this TV series idea. It has 4 parts and about 200 pages if it was in a book. I think it would be huge. Everybody wants more Breaking Bad. I thought of the idea because my house was attached to my families business at Whites Exxon in Escanaba. So my NIL and copyright is already on this big time. The book publisher I am working with already said this would not be copyright infringement if we just changed the spelling of the first names. Flynn will be more of a main character here. Walt White now controls the entire supply of meth in the Midwest and west coast, and up into Canada now. He is worth 25 million $$$$, but remember, if he wouldn't of sold his shares in Bio Pharma in college, then he would be worth 500 million dollars, so he is driven by that greed. His headquarters are at Whites Exxon in Escanaba, Michigan, so nobody would think it's him. The series follows Flynn as he is taken prisoner by the Ndrangheta. Walt gets defeated in part 1 by the Ndrangheta. Then the story flows well where Flynn has been an online poker pro since scene 1 of the TV series. It's how he goes on the run and how the Ndrangheta find him. A crucial element of the series will be that the top bosses in the Ndrangheta ( world's richest gang ) will find Flynn because he ran away from Walt after he found out. The Ndrangheta will put 4 RFID tracking chips deep in Flynn's legs , so they'll know where he's at at all times. This idea is possibly sellable to fans. High tech / weirder people are already doing this in real life for security purposes.

Follow Flynn and his entourage around as they go on a deep journey into Italy where all 3 of Italys mafias are involved, as well as the Vatican, the pope, and the illuminati!

Good luck to us boys! Joe Cada, Sammartnio in Italy, and Randall Emmet might want a piece of this. They are in my network of people I can contact luckily. Let me know what you guys think, and I can also start sending some actors and writers the first two parts which take about 2 hours to read.

Welcome to the community, Eric White. I’m a Stage 32 Lounge Moderator. I wanted to let you know I moved your posts from the Screenwriting Lounge and the Authoring & Playwriting Lounge to the Your Stage Lounge because they're promotion. Promotion can go in the Your Stage Lounge and on Your Wall.

You can post your promotion in one of the main Lounges (Screenwriting Lounge, Filmmaking/Directing Lounge, etc.) if your post starts a conversation that’s helpful and educational to the community.

Example: If you put promotion in the Screenwriting Lounge, within that post you could start a discussion by giving advice.

You can also post your promotion in one of the main Lounges if you're asking for feedback.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Also, I suggest adding a profile picture. People will feel more comfortable networking and collaborating with you if they know what you look like. And if you have a picture, your profile will show up when someone searches for you.

"The book publisher I am working with already said this would not be copyright infringement if we just changed the spelling of the first names." Even if you change the spelling of the first names, your series is based on Breaking Bad, so it would be copyright infringement, Eric White. Without having permission to write a series based on Breaking Bad, you won't be able to do anything with your series besides using the pilot script as a writing sample. I suggest changing things in your series so it has nothing to do with Breaking Bad.

Eric White

Ok thanks man. I am glad I got this advice right away! I start working with the book publisher Tuesday , so I will see more of what they meant. They might've meant what you mean, but they didn't say this directly enough. Yeh, I can easily change this so it appears like it's Breaking Bad, but it's not???

I could also maybe get approval from Breaking Bad to do this. I have big time connections. Whoosh. I'll try to send you guys my good luck lol.

Maurice Vaughan

You're welcome, Eric White. Yeah, I would definitely ask the publisher what they meant.

You could either get permission from whichever company owns Breaking Bad so you can write a series based on it, or you could change things in your series so your series is its own story without anything to do with Breaking Bad.

Eric White

Yeh man. I'll put it in my Tuesday notes. They do this all the time with Mafia books and movies. I think if the book publisher says that we can do it, then they know a way we can do it. I have mixed it in very well, but of course, it's not super talented what I did. But Breaking Bad might even give me permission because I'm VIP. This could explode lol.

Best of luck Eric White
