There are pros and cons to all of the crowdfunding platforms, including withdrawal restrictions hitting targets. (Kickstarer vs. Indiego). There was a good discussion in this forum awhile back if you care to look for it. Haven't heard much feedback on Seed and Spark, however their founders seemed to have authenticity. As Maurice stated, I concur it seems most filmmakers use indiegogo.
If it is for Film... Indiegogo all the way. They have also updated their platform and dropped fees (for a short time). Kickstarter is more successful in the tech sector now, and pre-purchasing...etc. I've spent dozens of hours speaking with crowdfunding companies. A lot is changing in this space. Mostly positive. The distribution of film is not what it used to be.. and for a short time it's changing into the power of the independent.
Maureen Mahon I will echo Amanda Toney 's suggestion - that book will do much more than just answer the question you posed here. For me, it answered several question I didn't ever realize I should be asking. And good luck with your project! :)

Hey Maureen Mahon! I'd highly recommend you get a copy of this book, CROWDSOURCING FOR FILMMAKERS: it's written by our very own Richard Botto and he does an AWESOME breakdown of all the crowdfunding platforms and filmmakers experiences with them: https://www.amazon.com/Crowdsourcing-Filmmakers-American-Market-Presents...
