Producing : I need a clue .... by Vinson Didier

I need a clue ....

Hi there! I'm Didier Vinson, actor and scriptwriter, born and based in Paris France. I had five of my scenarios produced so far, 4 tv movies and 1 feature film and the one I'm working on at now sounds like a lifetime achievement for me. A 8 episodes historical series taking place during the French Commune. I'm about to complete the final bible of the project and send it through to my local agent, but I do have the feeling that this has to be international, given the scope and necessary means of the project. As I said before my agent is local and she might not have the connections with the platforms (apple TV, HBO, Netflix, Prime Video) that can consider such proposals. Would any one of you be so kind to give me a clue as to what would be the best way to approach them, eg : b to b or through a local american producer...Thanks a lot to everyone

Hi Vinson Didier - you've been doing awesome work so this is a logical (and fabulous) next step! I recommend two things:

This Stage 32 webinar on International Co-Productions: https://www.stage32.com/education/search?term=international&h=a-producer...

And you should reach out to the Stage 32 Success Team at success@stage32.com and they can guide you to the best resources on the platform.

Wishing you huge luck with your series!

You could use an Entertainment Attorney to approach different ones. But that can be pricey and may not go anywhere. Your best bet is to find a a producer that worked on a show with network or production company and reach out to them.
