Hi everyone,
My name's Marc. I'm a screenwriter and would-be filmmaker. I tend to be shy, so I'm not the greatest networker. I would be really interested in talking to people east of the Atlantic. I'm in Germany. I'm working on getting a couple of TV pilots and a feature film script polished. Afterwards, I'm looking to start shooting some film. A short or two and a low-budget feature. What are you doing?
Hey, Marc Galmoud. I'm working on a Horror feature script. What genres are your short films and feature gonna be?

Generally do comedy and satire. The low-budget feature idea however is a non-supernatural horror film - like Misery or Funny Games.
Cool, Marc Galmoud. Misery is a classic. I haven't seen Funny Games. What's one of your favorite Comedy movies?

I don't know if I have ONE favourite. Especially now. Woody Allen's Annie Hall, Manhattan, Hanna and Her Sisters. Coen Brothers' Raising Arizona, Big Lebowski, and then there's The Big Short and 3 Billboards. etc.

I've been meaning to watch Raising Arizona and Big Lebowski for a while, Marc Galmoud. I mainly like 80s and 90s Horror like Friday the 13th, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Aliens, Cujo, They Live, The Thing, and Scream. I like modern Horror too, like Talk to Me, Get Out, Nope, It Follows, and Abigail.

Hi Micke Askernäs, I like stories that deal with human conflict, often satirically.

I can't believe I've finally met someone else who loves Raising Arizona Marc Galmoud. "Turn to the right!" Any chance you like "The Gods Must be Crazy?" Maurice Vaughan - you need to watch "Raising Arizona" my friend. It's a must.

I'm pretty far west of you in California Marc Galmoud, but it's nice to see you meeting some great folks here. We have many European members who I'm sure you'll connect with in time!

Hi Narc, I'm from The Netherlands. Can give one of your screenplays a check, format etc, I am not very good at it but can do some work I guess.

Hello, Rutger Oosterhoff . Thanks for offering. Don't need much help with formatting and such, but it helps to have people who can read a script just as if they were an audience member watching a film and judge whether they like it or don't. What kind of things to do like to watch/make?

I think I like good action movies most. But a good movie is a good movie, it can be in any genre. What I would like to make you can see under my loglines, and the few shorts I made.

Hey Marc Galmoud, greetings from sunny Los Angeles! I'm working on a short right now as well and hope to shoot it this fall! Good luck on your projects, can't wait to see them come to life!

Thanks, Marc Galmoud! I moved to Quebec 15 years ago for a change of scenery and personal reasons. Regarding the film landscape, both countries have challenges when making films, especially if you are interested in genre movies, like myself.
