Tips for writing action scenes?
I have currently created a 200 page book, but I can't write ""part 3 "" without a war scene between the Venice banking Mafia that owns 4 trillion dollars and between American Patriots and Hollywood. Hollywood has found out about them because of certain global vips. The war will mainly take place as an invasion of American Patriots into Italy as the control of the Catholic Church is at stake.
Some of the Italian media is owned of course, so it could be a big war if the Venice Mafia blames it on Islam / a holy war. Hollywood will get the Royal House of Saudi Arabia involved , so that could help us....
Maybe this is it : I can place key celebrities like DiCaprio in key locations where each part of the war is being fought?
Also, American Patriots getting alerted can create scenes where it goes city to city in America where celebrities have to rally the people to fight the war??
This could lower the amount of action scenes I have to write? I'm not good at writing action scenes.
It is much easier to direct action scenes of course.

The key to great a action scenes in novels is to not try to explain every single sight. As usual, the old adage of "Show, don't tell" comes into play and assuming you have a central protagonist, you want to show action from their POV rather than trying to tell readers everything happening in a scene. You can also incorporate certain action beats through newspaper headlines or dialogue. You might also compare between written and filmed action in books/adaptions like "Lord of the Rings," "No Country for Old Men," and "The Godfather."
