Hey Jeari Czapla I highly recommend our Pitch Sessions and if you're looking for a specific recommendation please reach out to success@stage32.com for a specific exec to pitch to! I also advise looking into our Logline Polish for more feedback on what you can add or improve upon>>https://www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=22
Be sure to do your synopsis first, set the tone, then explain the main characters and motivations. I use to be God awful nervous and ruined a majority of my pitch sessions, by over explaining and giving too many details… Then I decided that I would pitch to executives like I would my family and friends, I wanted to get started so bad on my filmmaking career that I made myself even more nervous… Just take a deep breath and know you got it
One question on your logline, Jeari Czapla - when does the story take place? Is it present day or period? You're getting awesome advice here on how to navigate this forward. I love seeing the community rally to support each other!
ThanQ and I Agree with you regarding this Community and how they are all so supportive,..
Great Question,..
My Script is about a Famous Poem written in 1594 and was corrupted in 1796. The main story occurs between 1954 - 1970 and demonstrates how the poem was use but Royalties were not paid to the owner.
it equally has the first Tape Deposition in American history as well as start of what is now called, Entertainment Law.
The story line is chronological by date.
I'm not sure if that's a bad thing,.. I do believe the history is important as the poem has now become a Punch Line,..
Marcel Nault Jr. ,.. ThanQ my Friend for your Kindness,.. I Appreciate your thoughts,.. it's taken me four months to Script it out and 27 years of Life experience to realize the Script is quite intriguing,..

That's great, Jeari Czapla! Have you thought about pitching to execs, managers, etc. through Stage 32’s Pitch Sessions (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/pitch-sessions)? The main purpose of the Pitch Sessions is to get feedback to improve your pitch, but sometimes execs, managers, etc. request scripts, sign writers, etc. (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/success-stories).

Don't just read, talk about it. Tell your story. Big difference in the way it will be told and heard.
