I was sat in the office around 10am this morning, discussing films and shows with colleagues then suddenly I get a moment of inspiration that will help my current screenplay at the end of act 1 to give - what I think - is an excellent plot point to build the story and take it in a slightly different direction. As I write this I have 3 hours left of my shift and I cannot wait to get home to write this. It's given me such an adrenaline rush. I love these moments!

Always seems to happen when we put our minds at ease, doesn't it, Alex Winstanley?

Richard "RB" Botto It definitely does. That’s why I take paper and pen with me everywhere. Inspiration hits even in the most random places and situations.

Alex Winstanley Imagine back in the dark ages when the "lightbulb" goes off, then you reach for your mobile mini-computer only to realize you are, in fact, not in 2024, and, have instead been relegated to seeking out parchment and iron gall ink with which to transcribe your mid-shift ideation magic...

I also carry a small notebook and pen in my back pocket everywhere I go, for that exact reason Alex Winstanley! And I have a notebook on my nightstand and in my purse, just in case.
