Raffle ticket financing

Hello everyone, I have secured fiscal sponsorship for a cause that allows me to fundraise on projects in a variety of projects including producing film. I have purchased 1,000 raffle tickets being sold at $10 each with the grand prize being a $1,000 Amazon gift card. So far, have gotten good response from family. I have yet to sell in-person to the community, due to various weather patterns. My question is has anyone tried selling raffle tickets in-person (as required by the state attorney general's office) and if so do you have any tips or recommendations? I am planning to go door-to-door when the weather is more moderate, thanks.
