Screenplay

Greetings, I have written 100 pages of a script, and I have uploaded approximately 12 pages here on the site. I would like to receive advice on this script 'The Last Time, New Era (Signs)'. Thank you very much to everyone.

Greg Takoudes

Hi Kakha! I wanted to let you know that I offer notes/consulting services for screenwriters. I've been teaching film at the university level for years, and I also worked as a consultant for many years for the studios. Please check out my website if you're interested -- and I'd be happy to help you develop your script!

Hi, Beridze Kakha. Stage 32 has a First 10 Pages Review (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/coverage/buy?id=20). You'll submit your full script. If the reader likes what they read, they'll continue to the end of the script for no additional charge! And, if they want to know more, they'll request a meeting with you.

Rutger Oosterhoff

Kakha, do you use screenwriting software? The basic formattting is all wrong. You have to fix that first before anybody can go in to your writing

Beridze Kakha

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I'm using WriterDuet for the software, but I'm not sure what I can fix. This is my first time writing a script, so I'm still learning. I'm open to advice on what I can improve.

Rutger Oosterhoff

Ok, got it. I'm using an old free version of Writer Duet too. Main thing is that your dialog is in the middle, under the Character name. You have to use the "go to tools" ; click "character" type his/her name, and tern click dialog, type the dialog. Then go to "Action" to type an action line. For the Header you click on "scene" etc

I could show you in a video call, but it is impossible becsuse I only have a mobile phone to work with, and to teach effectively I have to work with a 'split screen,' in whatever way possible. But I think there are videos that show you the basics of using Writer Duet. Google them!

Beridze Kakha

Rutger Oosterhoff Thank you so much. I'm not familiar with using it, but with your help, I'll be able to figure it out. I'll also look up some videos. I'm using the free version too. If I don't understand something, I apologize in advance. Would it be okay if I message you privately?

Rutger Oosterhoff

Yes, no problem.

Can I read the first 10 pages in my YouTube channel and provide feedback?
