It's been a pretty good year for the major studios. Despicable Me 4, The Wild Robot, and Inside Out 2 all did well critically and commercially. Personally, I felt like The Wild Robot and Inside Out 2 were a cut above the other one and most everything else animated this year. What are people's expectations for this weekend's release, Moana 2? Looking forward to it? Indifferent? Planning on skipping? I'm planning on seeing it, but my expectations are low based on what I've heard about it and the trailers I've seen for it. I would love to hear other people's thoughts.

I haven't seen Moana yet, and there are other movies in theaters I wanna see, so I'll probably wait until Moana 2 comes out on streaming, Brian Smith.

Never saw the first Moana, Brian Smith so will likely skip the sequel. LOVE the Despicable Me series though.

I personally haven't kept up with Moana 2, not too sure if I'm not in the target audience but I haven't seen a whole lot of marketing for it, up until recently. I'll more than likely miss it in theaters and catch it once it's on streaming platforms. I have had a few friends check it out over the weekend but can't quite gauge how well it will/has done.
