Forgiving Retribution, Update...

I have been shooting my short film, Forgiving Retribution, starting the first week in July. I have only two shoot days remaining and it will be done. I am very happy with how it is coming out and I have been so fortunate to have Christian Madero from CMDELUX come onboard to help with the cinematography. We are using Sony FX3 cameras and anamorphic lenses. I hope to have it completed by January, then plan to hit the short film circuit. Any suggestions about how to best monetize the film would be greatly appreciated.

The topic is a heavy one...physician suicide...which claims 300-400 lives a year in the United States alone. Here are a few teasers...

I will be producing a video trailer of the short once completed that will feature highlights of the film...more to follow.

Suspenseful opening scene teaser, Curt Samlaska! Important topic! I'm looking forward to seeing the film!

Thanks Maurice...I have had a few retired physicians read my script. I had a retired anesthesiologist crying in my exam chair...brought back many memories of trauma patients that he tried to save, but couldn't... A retired cardiothoracic surgeon said he doesn't remember his successful patients...he remembers his failures... It is an important topic that has not been explored.

You're welcome, Curt Samlaska. Touching stories! Yeah, I haven't seen that topic explored in movies, shows, etc.
