Hi Stage 32 community! As a PR consultant specializing in the sports and entertainment industries, I’ve had the pleasure of helping professionals amplify their stories and connect with the right audiences.
One thing I’ve learned is that building relationships with media (including podcasts and blogs on this one) is as much about storytelling as it is about timing. I’d love to hear:
How do you approach sharing your story or promoting your projects?
What PR challenges have you faced when working on a film, music release, or personal brand?
I’m happy to share some insights or strategies if it’s helpful. Let’s start a conversation—I’d love to collaborate and learn from this amazing community!

Great to meet you, Brandi Sims. I'm not an actor, but as a screenwriter/ghostwriter/commercial writer/pitch deck designer, I try to make my projects stand out when I promote them. Unique social media posts, 3-word and 4-word pitches, script posters, catchy query letters, etc.

Maurice Vaughan Great to meet you, Maurice! And thank you so much for your insights and feedback.
You mentioned limited word pitches. Have you noticed outreach has gotten more brief and shorter in responses? I wonder if it has to do with the shorter attention spans of people nowadays lol

You're welcome, Brandi Sims. I've noticed that (it's not always like that though). I think it's because of short attention spans and the huge amount of content on social media. I use limited word pitches to make my scripts stand out from other scripts/catch people's eyes quickly.
What a great question Brandi Sims I would suggest posting this in other lounges like Flimmaking or producing as well. I bet you'll get a nice variety of answers.
