I got to meet Cab when I use to play at Caesars back in the '80's. He was one cool cat.
He sure was. I see him as Prince for that age.
I can’t remember what the event was that he was performing and attending at there. I do remember that there were a lot of different entertainers there for it. I was playing on Cleopatra’s Barge that night at Caesars and he came in the club for a while. Two others that I remember there that night were Bobby Womack and John Sebastian. There’s three dudes you’d never imagine being booked at the same event, would you?!
