Anything Goes : Working with Disney by Kevin Hager

Working with Disney

Some of my ideas for Disney are also contributions to their earlier films, both animated and live action from the 60's, 70's, and 80's even the early 90's. Like in Music and Magic a crossover between American Dragon: Jake Long, and the High School Musical franchise a character would have a Chimpanzee helping him, like a homage to Disney films like Barefoot Executive and Monkeys go Home. Haven't seen them yet, but they sound interesting. I guess sometimes we do a homage to something like Disney without knowing it.

I want to work with Disney as they are an inspiration and some of my ideas are to take their outreach programs to the next level

Please help me.

Hi Kevin, you're going to need to tackle this one with some research. Head over to IMDB.com and research who has worked with Disney a number of times. Your focus should be on producers and directors. Then reach out to those individuals / companies, and discuss your projects with them. Yes, you'll be investing time into this, and yes, you will run into those whom will not take a submission from you. You will also be building relationships. There will be some that will be open to reviewing what you have so you gotta find them! Break a leg!

One idea is a Once Upon a Time in Disney, a couple meets Mickey Mouse, and together they have to save Disney and meet a young Walt Disney, and a crossover between American Dragon: Jake Long and the High School Musical franchise. Disney did some great crossovers, but have they tried something like that?

Plus expanding their outreach to help people who have been in abusive relationships. A member of my family was in a relationship like that, but she is now out of it. As well as support for the Covenant House.

Doesn't that all sound interesting?
