What are your thoughts how perception has changed?

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, Suzanne Bronson. I hope you're having a great weekend!

“They’re like, ‘It’s so brave. She’s so brave,’” Lowe said. “She’s brave because she has a sex scene? Like, that’s brave now. In our day, it was required.”

But everyone's not comfortable writing sex scenes, filming sex scenes, and performing them, so yeah, it's brave.

Suzanne Bronson

Well I think what lo is saying that when he was coming up it was a given to do a sex scene whereas now it's not. But it's also interesting how offset on the red carpet women were supposed to be modest versus now, almost need to be showing skin.

The industry is definately becoming more conservative Suzanne Bronson and are moving away from the smut that has repelled many from films since the 70s. I really think it is a good thing. Cheers!

Suzanne Bronson

I'm confused by your statement Mark Films How is the industry becoming more conservative? When there are sex scenes they are even more graphic- which is why it's scene as brave to do a sex scene.- especially with streaming which is not regulated by the FCC. Even the FCC has loosened regulations. and women are dressing less conservatively at Awards show. (no judgement. Just a statement on fashion.)

You can look at the movies just last year and the smut has been way toned down in the main stream, that does not include showtime and others.
