Anything Goes : 2025 by Tim Bragg

2025

2025, it is going so fast. These last five years for me have been interesting. COVID changed everything in 2020, no I did not have it but it shut everything down. I have not written anything new since 2023. In 2024 I entered the Golden Script Competition, which was the only thing I did in 2024 and Boy Blue received five stars in all categories except commerciality, it received a three .

I have been told a lot from readers and producers that my work needs to be wide screen and the Golden Script Competition told me to resubmit and if I had I believe the commerciality would have gone up to five but I was not interested in rewriting Boy Blue and adding the changes they recommended, so I did nothing more with them.

All my projects have been "R" rated with the exception of one which is NC 17 and towards the end of 2024 I started thinking about making my projects wide audience and ways to rewrite those projects so they would fit into a PG 13 which meant researching what I can and cannot do in that rating. I have spent the last four months rewriting my old projects and writing new stuff which I am happy to say is now all PG 13.. Boy Blue because of the changes changed the title which you will notice is now the Rhythm of Life.

It is funny because I never wanted to aim my material at teenagers but when I did my first PG 13. I was hooked and my other "R" rated material I am not even looking at mainly because they cannot be made PG 13. The two new scripts that I am going to start working on will be wide audience and personally I am not interested in writing another "R" story. I have found that I can accomplish everything that I want doing a PG 13.

I am excited to get material out there again after two years of not writing anything new. I still do not have the power points ready so I am not putting them out right now. I am putting together a new query letter which is going to be much better than what I have done in the past and one of the new scripts I am going to start working on is something I have never done before, a female lead. I am going to continue working on my AI stuff this year. So this is where I am right now. I hope everyone's writing journey is going the way that you would like it to go.
