Hi everyone, I’ve taken the rather crazy option of quitting my full time job to focus on pitching my tv show ‘MERCURY’ I feel like it’s a golden opportunity as it tackles relevant human and societal themes.
Just would love some help with the next steps of where I am supposed to go or what to do.
My goal is to get it optioned.
A lot of studios don’t accept unsolicited material. So how do I go about getting representation?
I have written a fair amount of screenplays and just seem to be stuck.
Thank you all!

Hi, Ryan Avery. Lucy Addams made a similar post yesterday you might wanna check out (www.stage32.com/lounge/screenwriting/Figuring-out-my-next-steps).
My biggest tip is to network/build relationships on Stage 32 and in person. You might meet someone who refers you to an agent. Here's a blog that'll help you connect with creatives and industry professionals: www.stage32.com/blog/the-importance-of-community-and-collaboration-in-th...
You could enter a Stage 32 contest (www.stage32.com/scriptservices/contests). If you win a contest or place as a Finalist, Stage 32 will send your work to agents and literary managers who are seeking new talent and other industry pros. If you don't see contests that fit your projects, keep an eye on the Contest Page. Stage 32 will be adding more contests.

The Writers Room here on Stage32 is the best place to start Ryan Avery and begin pitching your projects there. Welcome aboard and best of luck!!

I'm not a pitcher, so I don't know what experts say, but to me your logline seems to be on the longer side.
