It has come to my attention that someone is claiming to be Rick Heinrichs, the production designer behind films like Pirates of the Caribbean, Sleepy Hollow, and Star Wars: The Last Jedi. However, this individual does not seem legitimate and may be attempting to scam people.
If you come across someone in stage 32 claiming to be Rick Heinrichs, especially if they are offering fake opportunities or behaving suspiciously, be cautious!

If anyone sees a fake account or suspicious profile on Stage 32, email support@stage32.com with the person’s name and their Stage 32 profile link. And if someone sends you a scam message, send a screenshot of their message to Support with their name and profile link. Thanks.

Yeah, I should have known better. He did do a nice thorough analysis of my script, gratis, upfront. The $3000 was to be for production services. I figured maybe times were tough after the fires and he was branching out or moonlighting.

I was contacted by fake Derek Wax too. Red flags from the get go. Asking for £3000 for production evaluation. I jokingly said I'd give £100, which he said he would accept, lol. Sent over a NDA for me to sign and bank account details in another persons name ( his financial assitant apparently) BIG red flag. Was going to report to stage32 but the profile has already been removed. Hope no one was conned out of any money by this a-hole!

I told the company where the real Derek Wax works about the scammer. Because he asked me for 2,550 British Pounds. Yes, this is the person I mentioned in another post a few days ago. And as a comedian, I suggested the scammer that we would meet face to face. Not heard from him again, and I think admin deleted him.
