Will Jordan/The Critical Drinker said Rogue Elements was kinda a trial run for them to learn how to shoot action scenes, manage locations, what size of crew is most effective, etc. One tip for screenwriters looking to make their own short films -- and even features -- is use what location you have available. And keep the location count down. If you have a lot of locations, see if you and your crew can combine some of the locations by moving furniture around and redecorating.

Totally agree with you Maurice Vaughan and the Critical Drinker is quickly growing and with his next short, he will have named actors in a few locations. Kickstarter has been amazing for him to raise his funds. He has over 111k raised so far! His Youtube channel has 1.3 Million subs as well. And gets funds from Youtube ads which helps him to fund his projects too.

I love this. Thanks for sharing. I used to be a regular kickstarter supporter and can honestly say that of countless projects I backed only one never delivered. It's great to see that filmmakers are still finding success there.
