Hi everyone, I’m Hanan - a former non-scripted TV Development Exec now working as a Development Consultant.
I help production companies, independent producers, and creators come up with and develop fresh creative concepts - or shape existing ideas into marketable shows - with a stronger shot at selling.
I’ve sold and created non-scripted shows for Netflix, TLC, HGTV, Food Network, and more—so I know what it takes to get a show across the finish line.
I run workshops and do 1:1 consulting, and just wanted to get a sense if that’s something people here would find helpful. No pressure at all—just putting some feelers out.

Hi Hanan, thanks for sharing! I’m a longtime actor now working as a screenwriter and recently completed a sci-fi drama pilot set in 1990s Seattle called The Lens. I saw you specialize in non-scripted, but was curious do you ever consult on scripted or genre series (especially sci-fi or YA-leaning projects)? Totally understand if not, but thought I’d ask!

hi Michael Mahony thanks for asking and reaching out! I've done it all in non-scripted (formats, documentaries, news, competition, gameshow, etc) but unfortunately, scripted is not in my wheelhouse. Wish you the best with your Pilot!

Hi, Hanan Abdelaal. Congratulations on all your accomplishments! I hope you're doing great! I'm not developing any non-scripted shows right, but I'd find workshops and 1:1 consulting helpful whenever I do develop a show, mainly about what material I'd need to pitch the show.
