Thanks for your comment Dan. You're right about that. In addition, the theme should be presented in the first 5 pages. That opening couple of pages makes quite a statement, to be sure! :)
The opening image, if powerful enough can illustrate the theme of the entire screenplay. And of course, it has to be attention-grabbing. In a world of ADD-esque audience members, we have to grab attention and grab it fast.

Without a doubt. I love Blake Snyder's Beat Sheet. He's right on so many levels about what should happen where. :)
