Need your opinions. For shooting a short with limited lighting set ups, would you go with the HD Nikon D3200 or SD Canon XL2? Note: Most of film is Day Exteriors.

I think there are a few other questions that need to be answered first. One, what is your goal for distribution. Will it be going to DVD, YouTube, Blu-ray, VOD, or a film festival? Secondly, what look are you going for? Finally, what do you have most readily available to you and what is your budget? DSLRs can be great if you are doing single camera shooting and want a very crisp looking image. The XL2 can be beautiful if you want a softer look. The zoom lens on the XL2 can also be very handy.
