What Are You Excited About On Your Journey This Month?

Hello everyone. I'm so happy to be here again this month. I'd love to hear in a sentence or two about where you are in your journey? Are you meeting your goals? Are you EXCITED about your project and process? I'll start in comments below.

Libby Wright

Where I'm At: I'm continuing to complete the suggested edits on my Double Recommend. Want to be really solid on this in the next month. My timeline was a bit delayed by some important family milestones that suddenly came to be. I'm so EXCITED about getting my feature film financed. We need to find our finance partners and I'm just believing we will connect as I keep reaching out. We have an amazing pitch deck and a team full of positive energy!!

Maurice Vaughan

Hi, Libby Wright. Congratulations on getting a Double Recommend and all the progress you and your team made with your film! I hope you get the funding!

I'm rewriting a scary, action-packed feature script. It's going slower than I thought, but the script is getting better and better.

Here's the logline, Libby Wright:

After vampire-proofing an abandoned house, a loner who sticks his neck out for no one and strangers fight to survive during a 12-hour period where vampires are allowed to feed.

It started as a short script I wrote years ago.

Libby Wright

As always your logline is spot on!

Richard Kjeldgaard

Getting my first on-screen credit after 10 years and multiple screenplays.

Maurice Vaughan

Thanks, Libby Wright. It's kinda like The Purge with vampires.

Maurice Vaughan

Rooting for you to get your first on-screen credit and sell your scripts, Richard Kjeldgaard!

Kerry Cecil

Congratulations Libby Wright your feature film. I am still figuring out this website/community but I would love to check out what you have created so far.

Michael Alan Elliott

I've started writing a dark comedy titled "The Senior Center Assassin". When an aging professional hit man decides to hide out amid members that frequent a daytime senior center, he becomes emotionally attached and when those members become victims of car jackings, financial scams , muggings, etc. he becomes their avenging angel. The Equalizer meets Without Remorse.

Libby Wright

Wow- that sounds gripping @Michael!

Sebastian Tudores

Congrats Libby Wright & Richard Kjeldgaard on your momentum and accomplishments - so inspiring :) and I LOVE the loglines from Maurice Vaughan and Michael Alan Elliott - would watch those in a second!

For me so far this month: Am I (still) excited about my project? Absolutely! Am I meeting my goals? Nope. BUT, tomorrow is another day... gotta keep goin', right? cheers to all
