Introduce Yourself : Just wanted to say 'Hi'! by John Brown

This feels like a huge step into the unknown, as I'm taking my first tentative steps, getting into this world! In terms of introductions, I'm based in the English Midlands and do a bit or writing - reporting, opinion pieces and marketing, a bit of directing - I sort of see how things should turn out, a bit of camera work - DSLR mostly, both external and green-screen and a bit of editing - FCPX. I suppose what I'm really looking for is knowledge, guidance and a little bit of experience working and observing alongside those who REALLY know what they're doing. This isn't necessarily about a change of career, but about getting better at the things I enjoy and hopefully being part of something cool and exciting one day. There's a script in the works too (isn't there always!), a short story of man vs technology which I reckon is a solid 15 minutes - like I even know how that's worked out!
