Introduce Yourself : Laura Pirard - Composer, Actor, Voice Artist by Laura Pirard

Hi everyone! I've been on Stage 32 for a while, but I'm pleased to have a chance to say hello on a larger scale. I'm Laura Pirard, and I'm a composer, actor and voice artist based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. I've been scoring films (short, feature length, trailers) since 2009, and I've been acting for a little over a year. I'm constantly studying and looking for ways to apply and improve in my crafts. I love acting on screen and stage as well as writing music, though I've still got a ton to learn (and may I never stop!). My ultimate goal is to provide voice work and soundtracks for video games. I haven't had the chance to lend my voice to a game or any other project yet, though I have been practicing voice acting right alongside everything else and am chomping at the bit to use what I've learned. As a composer, I can work within deadlines both short and long and with few resources (I don't have a room full of scoring tools yet, but I make what I have work for me).
