Hi, my name's Anthony R. W. Lopez and I'm the owner of a video and movie production company called Cross Beyond, where crossing beyond ordinary moviemaking and beyond people's expectations is my goal. I've been doing a lot of freelance work in the past five years, and just this year opened the doors to Cross Beyond. Hi Anthony - tell me more about Cross Beyond - what are you doing differently than other production companies? What genre of films are you hoping to make?
Hi Mara - at Cross Beyond I am cost effective and very competitively priced (I own a lot of equipment and am continuously acquiring new equipment), and am dedicated (at least initially) to helping out my local economy, and in particular, small businesses. I try to be green-minded and am friends with a lot of business owners who are in the Pikes Peak Sustainable Business Network, as well as my local Small Business Development Center. I find out what's unique about every business I do work for and try to create something that is different than a local commercial, something that creates a real impact, that isn't just cookie cutter. Basically, I help small businesses, and they help me for helping them. It's been good so far. But yes, making narrative movies is my goal and real passion - any genres really, but I find that most of what I write is either sci-fi/fantasy or crime, or both. What do you do?
