Introduce Yourself : The Storyteller... by Ludovicus De Soncoeur

Good morning fellow artisans… I am Lu (short for Ludovicus). Born in Lyon FR, though stayed for only one drink… I traveled the globe with my family, India and Africa being the most influential in my internal development. I come from money, however realized rather quick that art, passion, vibrant colour, and the force of thunder were the means with which I was supposed to breathe my life. My parents would follow me around like vultures trying to clip the wings of my desires, accomplishing nothing and instilling within me a resilience to express and create. My first welcoming into the arms of love left me broken with the stinger still attached – I have been HIV+ for almost 18 years, this cemented my desire to create. For every foot that kicked me down, from the gutter I found another star in the welcoming sky. After every failed relationship I ventured back to university for another degree (Mythology, Philosophy and Music) with which understand what it means to be human. For millennia we have used art to make sense of who we are, what is our place, why are we here? I discovered there are cultures on this planet where for generations music has become so engrained in their system, they have no word for it in their language. That all forms of art can levitate the senses, incite revolutions and can heal the cracks in your heart. Most people ignore their politicians, but throughout history, whether you like the fruitions of creativity or not, the Artist has always been reviled and revered. Give me a rock, a piano, a piece of paper to the air you breathe and I will weave you a story to enrapture your heart. For We are the Sacred Storytellers! I am a composer (cinematic electronica), painter (patternism), writer (naughty existentialism) and mosaics (following ancient principles)… the only place I can’t create is in the kitchen; however I can do a fine job cleaning it.
