Hi Delaney! I am originally from Baltimore, MD and visit home quite often. People always ask me if The Wire is fiction. I'd love to share my story with you some day of the reasons I left Baltimore for Atlanta. I was one of those who had to sleep with a gun under my pillow so all I can say is kudos for the great job you did on The Wire! You and the actors truly brought a part of Baltimore to life that most people will never understand nor will they ever know.
