Cinematography : Looking for an old Surrealism Film possibly by Fellini by Susan Sayler

Hey folks, I have been searching for a film I saw a few decades ago that was shown in one of my film appreciation classes. It was in the surrealism genre and it was made in Europe, perhaps by Fellini. It was about the "future" family. They had a marvelous "smart house" with a "convenience" kitchen. I remember there was a lot of color. And I can't recall much of a plot. Does anyone know about non U.S.A. made surrealistic films?
