Stage 32 Meetups : Our Neighborhood is Larger; by W. Paul Hughes

While I live in a place in N. CA where I know no one that writes or who has "a foot" in the industry door, I have Stage 32. When I log in I get excited about what mysteriously awaits me. Is my network growing, did someone make an industry connection, who is a starter and who are the veterans? If I shared anyting, what would it be. Well, today I'm in the Neighborhood mood:) Stage 32 makes me feel as I'm setting in my den with other creative minds of like-kind and discussing our projects and trying to help each other progress. That's a good load to be carrying. I have movie blood in my veins and that creativity eats at me, even when I'm doing something totally apart from this world. If someone tells me, "Hey Paul, look at this (whatever), as I look, I put it into a reel. Scrolling credits give me a buzz, because I always see my name under screenwriter. Hang with each other everyone, move the road-blocks, make the detours work on your behalf, when someone says "No," hear a YES:) Dream big... it's all about persistence and putting a magnetic "face" on whatever you're proposing. Make others feel as if they don't review your project they'll miss out on something vitally important. I was just in the neighbor-hood and thought I'm share a thought. Hope it helps. Paul,
