Introduce Yourself : Production Monster Introduction by Scott Blake

Art Director / Prop Master / Costume designer Hello I'm Scott Blake. I have owned my own costume design business for about 7 years. I'm best known for my reproductions of the "Jack Sparrow" wigs, waistcoats, breeches, coat and compass. Because of this, I struggle with getting work because everyone knows me as "the pirate guy". My work has been seen in TV commercials, Magazines, News papers, TV shows, Large billboards, subway stations.... yet I don't officially have any credits...YET. I'm currently working as Art Director, Costumer and Prop Master on a TV series pilot... where I was dubbed "Production Monster". I love working on period projects, but as long as I am able to create something that pleases the eye, I'm totally happy. Big screen block-buster... that's where I would like to be one day.
