Introduce Yourself : A life of dreams by Clorine Jackson

Hi, I'm Clorine and I live in South Australia, and my dream is to make the feature films and the TV series I'm currently developing, and have them shown to a wide audience. I write fiction, light drama with some comedy, and I don't like the fact that so many films are made today with so much violence in them. I think that the scripts need more story and they don't have it so they fill the time up by shooting and killing people and blowing up cars and buildings. Where are the creative imaginations I want to know? I know this sounds judgemental, but I like to go and see movies that either make me feel good or make me think about things. "Pay it forward' was a good one, and "Hugo". Trouble is Producers never want to do anything other than their own thing I've found here, and so I have to produce myself, which takes me away from the writing a lot. I'm sure that all you creative people out there find it a hard business to crack into, okay if you are wealthy or know wealthy generous people. Is it so? Anyway, it appears to take a lifetime to get it going, so if it's your love and passion, as it is mine, you need to dedicate your life to it, which is what I'm doing. All the best to everyone!
