Introduce Yourself : Indie-film writer from Toronto. by Maruva

Hi there, my name is Maruva Shamu and I'm an indie-film screenwriter who hails from Toronto. I have 2 finished works: one is a feature film that follows the story of an abused black woman living in 60s New Orleans. The other is a short film that documents the immediate reaction of a woman who just found out that her sexually-abusive father died.
