Introduce Yourself : Sci-Fi Horror Film Fans by T H X 1138

I've been working in live action in LA since 1980... have over 60 features under my belt (from really Huge to Micro Budgets) as well as dozens of TV series and around 800+ TV commercials. Went to CalArts (Disney's Art/Film & Animation school) to study Animation... but got into Live Action and never went back. I'm known as a "One-Man-Art-Department" having designed & built sets; done a lot of scenic artwork and built a lot of props & breakaways for low-budget action films. About 12 years ago I got away from the insane hours of working in the Art Department and plunged into doing Locations & Scouting (mostly for TV Ads) to have more time with my Family. I'm seeking to network with people interested in making low budget Science Fiction-Horror (NOT Slasher or Zombie) films in the LA area (or?). Specifically interested in anyone creating Digital Matte Paintings as well as any upcoming or aspiring Costume Designers capable of collaborating on the Design & Fabrication of "Space Suits" for a Low Budget Sci-Fi Thriller.
