Is there anyone willing to take a chance on a young talent?

Hi I do not have a large profile of work..I have only been done one extra job in Steven Speilberg movie, Lincoln. I am a very talented young man and is willing to work hard and do whatever it takes. I just need someone to take a chance and I will prove I am the next best thing in the acting industry.

The short answer? YES!! Lots of filmmaker are willing to take a chance on young talent. You just have to know where to look. Start with Craigslist. The search is free and submitting costs you nothing. If nothing is avail there, do a Google search on acting gigs around your area. I'm sure there are plenty to choose from. Also, look for student projects, especially thesis films from Universities or Film Schools. They're bound to enter festivals if good enough and the exposure for actors is greatly enhanced. Lastly, check out local theaters, and venues that have auditions coming up. They are a great place to network with people just like you. Good luck and I hope this helps. Keep me updated and if you have questions, comments, or concerns, I'm here to help!
