When I joined I was under the impression that this was a networking community. I hardly see any collaboration requests, or job request postings. In the age of social media I'm looking for a community that is about business and putting projects together. Maybe I just haven't been diligent looking, but am I wrong??? Somebody help me out with my thought process, PLEASE. I really don't need a chat room on steroids. I'm not demeaning anyone's work ethic, what i am questioning is the ability to access new potential for projects and exposure in this community, speciffically for a voice artist such as myself.
I hear you, it takes time to build up the relationships to get work done. I myself have been slacking in my efforts but I'm back to work on getting my work out there. I hope you don't give up on the site. I have found some interesting people here that, even if your not working with them, you can get info you wouldn't normally have found on your own. I'm actually looking into voice acting but it can be daunting at times. Stay positive and good things will happen.

I have great projects and I need help, but it takes time for people to discover you. The good thing about Stage 32 is that there is a concentration of people who really want to work in film. Check out my projects and contact me if you have something to contribute.
There seems to be a lot of job postings with people looking for actors for projects on Stage32. I think you have to look in the different forums but try not to give up. I also notice a lot of people actors want you're project big time its almost like they want to be in something that they think is going to make them a star instantly. What happened to crawling before you walk. Good luck, http://on.fb.me/HC0C3Y #SWEETWEETS @videoBL http://bit.ly/IBK3Jw
It's interesting because I see a LOT of collaboration request and job postings. Not paying jobs usually, but lots of directors looking for scripts, filmmakers looking for crew, people trying to build a team and groups forming to collaborate on national and international projects. As the other have said, it takes time to build relationships. I notice you posted this in early November and here it is mid December and you haven't posted here again. Just reading? Or have you not returned? I noticed that you haven't joined in any discussions at all. The ability to access new potential for projects and exposure in this community demands quite a bit time and joining in. I think a networking community is a two way street. I have lost track of how many job request postings I have responded to where the person never responds again. I don't know if they just never returned and never saw my response or if they just didn't want to accept my offer. It can be frustrating.

Rick you have a point to an extent. I think that as we become busy, we tend to shy away for chasing our tail so to speak. I'm not chasing a $...that seems to come in time. I want to work on projects that will lend experience and at the same time , exposure. As you say...it takes time.
